An update from Pam after her courageous effort in fundraising for Guys trust, with a sponsored swim in the Red Sea.
A note from Simon B. on the fundraiser held in London for The Trust, a very nippy night last December. Thanks very much to all who supported the event.
Simon says...
Wow, "what a party" to quote some of the feed!
We raised close to two thousand pounds for the charity and had an outrageously good time doing so. Old friends were reunited, new friendships formed and ‘love’ was in the air for a few. The man would have loved it.
A Big Thanks to the Jon, for his contacts, sorting the venue and for general know-how.
Thanks also to the venue and staff, who kindly gave us the place for free, mixed some seriously strong cocktails and even donated money to the charity.
Our gratitude too goes to all the DJs:
Connor warmed us up, took as back and got us on our feet, Ali got us funkin, Mick and Nigel rocked the house, Kev got hard, and Graham, who finished off with some stunning D&B. Top tunes from all of them.
A special mention for all those lightweights who couldn’t make it on the night but bought a ticket and donated to the cause anyway!
So, cheers to everyone who came, partied and made the night go with a bang.
